Thrift-leaf Perky Sue
Quick Facts :: Growing Tips
Legend
Description:
5” x 8” wide, (seed propagated). A wonderful everblooming yellow daisy that is both heat loving and drought tolerant. The foliage is evergreen and looks just like Armeria. A vigorous reseeder, it quickly colonizes harsh areas of the garden. Perky Sue loves gravel mulch. We use it to interplant with cold hardy cacti. Provide lean, well-drained soil. Once established Hymenoxys scaposa is very xeric, needing little extra water. A Choice Plant! Zones 4-9.
