Quick Facts :: Growing Tips
Legend
Description:
4’ x 3’ wide, (cutting propagated). 1995 Perennial Plant of the Year. Russian Sage, native to the harsh, high deserts of Afghanistan, is an indispensable plant for the western garden. Blooming for several months beginning in late summer, the white stems and aromatic silver-gray foliage are crowned with smoky blue flower spikes. Deep-rooted, heat loving and xeric, it’s not the least picky about soils, and thrives in almost any location. A fine companion plant for ornamental grasses like Helictotrichon, and Calamagrostis ‘Karl Foerster’ or perennials like Callirhoe or Calylophus.
Available in Premium 5” Deep Pots!

Special Notes:
Plant with Agastache, Jupiter’s Beard, Salvia ‘May Night’ and Calylophus!
