Soil Moist™ Water Holding Crystals

Description:

Mixing Soil Moist into the planting hole helps establish new transplants more easily especially on hot, dry planting sites. Soil Moist is a nontoxic carbon-based compound that absorbs hundreds of times its weight in water. It releases the water to roots that grow into its granules even after the soil is too dry to provide moisture.

Soil Moist is active in the soil for up to 5 years, protecting trees, shrubs, lawns, annuals and perennials from drought stress. Using Soil Moist reduces the frequency of watering needed to establish plants during dry weather. It is indispensable for use in container gardens! Use one tablespoon per plant (mixed into a 6-8” diameter planting hole). A 1/2 lb. bag will plant about 45 of our potted perennials.
